This week, FOGG received delivery of a batch of bat boxes for Glen Goyle.
Organised by FOGG member John McGregor and funded by a local charity, the boxes lie in wait, ready to be installed.
As John reports:
To give an idea of what will be going up in Glen Goyle, here’s the five designs. We have two of each, apart from the round top one, of which there are four. Total 12. The supplier is NHBS Ltd. based in Totnes
I imagine it will take quite a few hours to install them all. We will check again the trees that the bat consultant identified. And we have contacted the district council’s tree team – who availed themselves so well earlier this month when they had the owl box installed along the Glen
