WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 6TH MAY 2025

The FOGG working party were busy ‘out of hours’ this week – as reported by FOGG member John Hopkins:

EDDC Horticultural Officer Paul Fealey arrived after 9 and his colleague with the new plants a little later. The pair of them unloaded these then his colleague left.

There were 5 of us there to greet him, John McG, me, Geoff, Thomas and Annie, much to Paul’s surprise, he said he expected to be planting on his own!

Most of the Foggers had other commitments and had to leave after a while but I stayed with  Paul until 11.30 when all of the delivery was planted backfilled and watered. Paul was very grateful for the help and admitted he would have really struggled without the helping hands.

They look great and should be a really good show.
