WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 19TH OCTOBER 2023

It was during this week’s working party session that volunteers started planting bulbs provided by District Council horticulturalist Paul Fealey:

“Whilst we wait for the plants to arrive, it will be a good idea to plant bulbs in the sections that were planted last year, and also a lot of bare soil around Glen Goyle where no plants are yet designated. If we can get as many volunteers as possible this week, we will be able to plant thousands of bulbs, which will just leave bulbs to be planted in the beds after planting in November.”

More planting anticipated next week, if not the week after too!
