We have done a lot of work on what plants we could use when restoring Glen Goyle, but we are limited at the moment by the fact that we are short of funds so need to use EDDC suppliers who tend to carry ‘municipal’ type plants.
However, in anticipation of the time when we may be able to do better we have put together an alphabetical list of plants which would have been available to the Victorians. We were surprised by how many foreign plants there were, and also by how many were just a little too late. We hope you enjoy reading it.
