WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 2ND APRIL 2026

FOGG working party member John Hopkins writes in about this week’s volunteer session down the Glen:

“A lovely day today. Three of us removed matted clumps of dead brambles from brook banks, two more volunteers bagged up arisings and a sixth continued depleting the invasive bamboo. 

[EDDC Horticultural Officer] Paul [Fealey] called in and said he was pleased with all the flowers on show from our earlier bulb planting and how good the Goyle was looking. He took a load of photos and was  particularly pleased with the dog’s tooth violets which were coming into flower.”
