Glen Goyle is a garden owned and run by East Devon District Council – who have installed some nice new rubbish/dog bins at the top entrance – and which are emptied very regularly:

And dogs are indeed welcome along the Glen:

A little path is being planned for both dogs and owners to wander down to the brook – between the soon-to-be-planted shrubs:

As with all the parks and gardens in the Sid Valley, it’s about maintaining a balance between public access and recreation – and the wildlife enjoying their habitat in relative peace and quiet. And Glen Goyle is a place where both people and nature can get on nicely together.
