WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 9TH APRIL 2026

This week’s report from the FOGG working party comes from volunteer John Hopkins:

“Six of us,  weeding out perennial weeds, cutting back canna lilies to allow new growth. Thinning out shady areas and as always chatting to grateful visitors as they walk through.

“April bringing fresh bright new colour to the Goyle and the tree ferns fronds are starting to uncoil.

“The specimen Cornus tree ( lovely pink flowers ) half way down the lower path appears either dead or dying. We have cleared a load of adjacent invasive bamboo over the years to give it a better chance…”
