WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 26TH MARCH 2026
The FOGG working party were out in earnest this morning for this week’s session – as reported by volunteer John Hopkins:
There were five of us today. Weather turned out nice and in the shelter of the Goyle it was warm.
Spring time clean up continues, removal of dead branches, lifting the canopy at the north entrance, edging of beds, weed, ivy and bramble removal and some watering as it has been dry for some time now. Once we start there is always plenty to keep us occupied.
Here’s a photo taken by FOGG from February last year of where the Convent brook meets the Bickwell stream – as even in dryer periods, the water course that runs through the Glen does provide enough to water the plants.
