WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 13TH NOVEMBER 2025

John Hopkins, FOGG working party member, reports from today’s full morning:

A busy session today. Four of us and a first session for and welcome to a new member of the working party.

Council horticultural officer Paul Fealey was there early with 1125 bulbs and about 30 varied perennial plants. Bulbs included varieties of dog’s tooth violets, crocus, snowdrop, bluebell, anemone, squill, daffodil, grape hyacinth.

We set to work to get them in the ground, beds and lawn, managing to get all the plants bedded and about half the bulbs which will be completed next week.

We had a visit from members of the Bassett family. They were very pleased with their family memorial bench.

With thanks to John for the photo – and to Paul and FOGG volunteers for their hard work today!
