WORKING PARTY REPORT AND PHOTOS: 25TH SEPTEMBER 2025

This week’s report is from FOGG member John Hopkins:

Five of us today. Geoff and Nick lifted the black fabric in the raised bed as requested by Paul [Paul Fealey, EDDC Horticultural Officer] . Sandra planted allium bulbs, I helped Thomas with Bamboo removal and we also pulled down several very long brambles that have gone up in to the tree canopy and were hanging back down to ground level. Each probably more than 6m long.

Paul arrived with an EDDC maintenance operative to show him where the [new memorial] bench was to be positioned. Still no date for installation but hopefully a step close.
