Fabulous dogwood along the Glen

Here’s a further fabulous photo from the Glen – as captured this week by FOGG volunteer Katie Frost:

This is a cornus kousa, a dogwood. It is near the south end of the Glen, growing over the pathway. The structures that look like petals are actually bracts (a modified leaf). They surround the fruit.
