Very early spring along the Glen

A member of this week’s volunteer working party noted that there was “more wildlife than dogs in the Glen today!”

And another member, Katie Frost, noted that the list of wildlife included three gold crests being very noisy in the conifers; three queen bumblebees and a red admiral butterfly sunning itself.

The berberis and mahonia are in flower, adding some beautiful spring colour.

A clump of snowdrops greets you as you enter the Glen.
