Mapping and photographing the Glen

The Friends of Glen Goyle continue to be very busy along the length of the Goyle: see the regular weekly reports from the working party: Working Party – Friends of Glen Goyle

But it’s not just clearing and weeding to allow some space and light in for some healthy growth – but planning for the next stages of planting, with the aim of enhancing biodiversity and generally increasing the richness and variety of the place.

Here are some photos taken last week by FOGG working party volunteer Katie Frost – as she worked her way right down the Glen, recording exactly where we are now so we know what the gaps are and where we can work on further:
