Now in the midst of a very rainy autumn, John Hopkins, regular member of the FOGG working party, popped out once again to take a few more photos of the acer in their full glory.

These were taken this Thursday afternoon, following lots of rain which had meant that the morning’s volunteer session had to be called off. But the leaves appear even more stunning following the showers:
