One of the biggest jobs along Glen Goyle has been the cutting back and clearing away of a lot of tired, sick and dead over-and under-growth. It mounts up – but is collected and stuffed into huge bags by the working party volunteers every Thursday. These are then regularly carted away by the District Council for composting.
